food as fuel

we are switching our mindset around food from food as pleasure/comfort to food as fuel. when you are thinking of your meals as balancing, satiating, and energizing, it matters less what they look like and whether they are ‘socially appropriate’.

for example, our breakfasts may often look like lunch or dinner—with a big pile of greens or a savory soup. our dinners are sometimes a smoothie. our smoothies are not a snack, they are complete meals.
