standard tahini sauce

ingredients

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

2 tablespoons tahini

2-3 tablespoons lemon juice

1 garlic clove

salt and fresh black pepper

1-2 tablespoons nutritional yeast

pinch of red pepper flakes

water to thin, as needed


instructions

either blend all ingredients or grate/mince garlic and whisk it all together. use this sauce as the fat portion on a macro plate or bowl, for example: brown rice, steamed broccoli, and crumbled tempeh, browned in a pan and then mixed with a teaspoon or tow each of tamari and coconut aminos, a dash of paprika and garlic powder.
