millet + oats breakfast bowl

ingredients
millet
rolled oats
vegetable broth
garlic powder
redmond real salt or grey salt
1/3 cup yellow onion, sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 small tomato, diced
2 cups dino/lacinato kale, washed and chopped
1 teaspoon (or your fat portion) olive oil
1-2 eggs
fresh dill or other herb on hand
instructions
massage the kale to break it down a bit.
cook the millet in vegetable broth (with garlic powder and pinch of salt), according to package directions, for 10 minutes, then add the oats and cook until desired texture.
meanwhile, boil the egg/s.
sauté the onion in olive oil. add a bit of broth to prevent them from sticking to the pan as they brown. add garlic and kale, and more broth, as needed. add tomato near the end until it softens.
place your proper portion of starchy-protein in a bowl, add the veg and the egg on top. tear the dill or herbs and sprinkle on top. chew thoroughly and savor every bite!
